TG-1000 Hotbar Bonder Series

Toddco3 has released a new member of the TG-1000 Hotbar Bonder series that incorporates a servo-driven rotary table for higher volume production of small displays, sensors or other small products that include flexible circuits.

TG-1000-24 includes a precision servo-driven rotary table which allows multiple positions to be programmed into a process sequence. This feature allows operators to load/unload parts during an ACF bonding or soldering cycle which effectively increases through-put of single hotbar systems.

“Toddco3 prefers motorized rotary tables versus pneumatic for precise positioning of fine pitch parts. Servo-driven rotary tables are more consistent over time which results in higher yields for hotbar production cells” says David Bratty, Sr., Toddco3’s Vice President of Operations.

TG-1000-24 standard features include floor standing base frame, compact overhead system controls with touch-screen display for easy operator access, a variety of digital camera options for manual fine-pitch alignment, system software that provides intuitive user interface and saves bond profiles with programmed rotary table positions as a sequence file for a complete, computer controlled production process that can be easily selected.

TG-1000 series bonders incorporate a closed-loop, high temperature controller for precision temperature control of Toddco3’s ceramic hotbars or metal hotbars. The versatile system design provides a wide force range (5 – 600 N) with a servo-driven bond head for accurate, variable
pressure control. Standard data logging feature saves actual versus commanded performance for selected bonds. Two front-panel auxiliary thermocouple inputs can also be displayed and logged for thermal analysis. Remote Network Communications Option provides wired Ethernet
network access to all stored bond logs and process data.
