VIS102

Medical Device Inspection System

Overview

At Toddco, precision meets innovation. Toddco’s advanced engineering team has the experience and competence to collaborate with you in developing a custom Vision Inspection System (VIS) tailored to meet any and all specifications, ranging from simple dimension requirements to more complex programming features. The VIS102 adapts to your production environment to deliver reliable performance and expansive inspection capabilities, creating invaluable long-term solutions for you and your business.

The VIS102 builds on the VIS101’s inspection technology, offering a larger frame and fixture to accommodate bulkier medical devices. Equipped with five Keyence 3D vision sensors, the VIS102 performs fast, accurate inspections in under five seconds, identifying labeling errors, bent or missing parts, and other common defects before devices move into production or packaging.

As with the VIS101, operation is simple: place the device, press the front-mounted sensor, and review the inspection result indicated by the tower light system.

Key Features

Keyence 3D Vision Sensors

Five Keyence Vision Sensors enable multi-angle inspections, allowing for accurate detection of surface flaws, dimensional deviations, and structural inconsistencies.

Larger Inspection Area for Medical Devices

The VIS102 maintains accurate and reliable inspection performance while accommodating larger medical devices.

Real-Time Inspection with Automatic Defect Detection

Real-time inspection is processed through a clear pass/fail indication system relayed via the tower light system.

AI-Based Calibration Tools for Ongoing Accuracy

AI-based calibration tools support ongoing accuracy through a guided learning process.

Pass/Fail Data Logging for Quality Control Traceability

The VIS102 automatically records inspection results to support quality tracking, traceability, and compliance requirements.

Option to Integrate Bottom-View Inspection if Required

The VIS102 also allows for an optional bottom-view inspection to detect defects that are not visible from standard inspection angles.
